Many aspiring technicians in photonics education programs have difficulty with mathematics. Although equipped with a variety of valuable hand skills with which they can master challenging laboratory coursework, these students discover that their struggles to understand and use mathematics impede their progress. These materials have been designed first to assess students' mathematics skills levels at the beginning of their studies, and then to help them raise appropriae skills to the standards required for successful mastery of the photonics textbook concepts. |
