The
goal of this 10-day short course is to impart financial wisdom through
interactive projects that will lead students to a better understanding
of how to make, manage, protect, and save money. This curriculum
is built around a series of three in-class projects that are hands-on
and extremely relevant to your students' financial future. The Financial
Literacy for Teens curriculum is flexible and easy to integrate
into any middle or high school course.
The
Reading Comprehension Test and Student Evaluation revisit the critical
messages of the course as students work through an in-class, open-book
test. A series of multiple choice questions challenges students
to retain the financial wisdom that they have been exposed to through
this course. One short essay question enables students to express,
in writing, how the straight-forward messages of this book and curriculum
have changed the way they think about money.
